My recent work is an investigation of sonic ceramics. I have learned pre-Columbian processes for bird whistles, bird ocarinas and wolf whistles, using terra cotta clay. I also have been making larger scale work, tall standing vessels and shell forms. This range of scale (small whistles to large vase forms) is challenging and satisfying.
